I found this image while looking for something to put into our weekly newsletter to the team and thought it was cute enough to share with everyone else.We know this is a very special time of year, especially today as we spend time with family and friends. Easter reminds us of new beginnings with flowers blooming and trees beginning to bud.
It's a true rebirth of new life.

Hello Doug, Sounds like you had a fine Easter, except you didn't say anything about the real reason we celebrate. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the real reason for the season. I attended two Easter services, and they were Wow! I learned not only did God send Jesus who died crucified on the cross, He rose from the dead; after 40 days on earther, He then ascended to heaven and sat down at the right of the Father; and then Jesus sent the Holy Spirit which is the promise He made to us.
It is very interesting that when Jesus returned to Heaven, God gave Jesus the gift of the Holy Spirit then Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to us. Wow! Here read about it:

Hi Doug, I see you had a great Easter. I did also. I started the day by going to a new church. I only joined this congregation a week before. Then I spent the rest of the day with family and friends (who are also like family).
You know, Easter is my favorite time of the year. It is a time for second chances. God gave us all a second chance by sending his only son to die on the cross for our sins and rise in the 3rd day. We had a debt that we owed God. it was a debt that we could never repay ourselves. Jesus paid that debt for us! That is what Easter is all about!
I'm not comparing YTB to Jesus, but for many, YTB is also like a second chance.
